Paid Gap Year in the UK – Camp Assistant

Experience working abroad in the United Kingdom
Up to 2 years

Working and living in the UK is an experience like no other! On an Activity Camp Working Holiday, you could be working as an activity/ group leader with our partner outdoor learning centres. No experience is needed as you’ll be given training for the job, where you’ll be supporting young people with essential outdoor learning activities. This could include canoeing, high ropes, sports, archery, paddle boarding and other age appropriate activities. As well as  facilitating the day-to-day operations to ensure the students are supported throughout their stay.

With staff accommodation on-site, all meals will be provided while you earn a competitive salary. Our activity camp positions are available from a 6 month duration. If you love being outdoors and working with kids, this is the programme for you!

About the job

Our partners have fantastic activity centres all over the UK. Schools and groups will book to stay (similar to a school camp) where they’ll take part in activities and games for bonding and confidence. You might be helping kids overcome their fears in the morning, facilitating puzzles and games in the afternoon, and singing around the camp fire in the evening. It’s an exciting and rewarding experience where no two days are the same.

No qualifications are required and you’ll also receive comprehensive training prior to starting your job. Broaden your experience and develop transferable skills while you have a lot of fun every day!
