Watch a live sporting event to feel the roar of the crowds, the passion of the supporters and the Aussie sporting culture of a beer and a pie at the footy. Australian Rules or AFL is the national code and for the southern states it is like a religion; the NRL is just as popular and draws big crowds of vocal fans. Maybe you would like to watch the horseracing at the Melbourne Cup or head to the MCG to watch a game of cricket. Whatever sport you are into, Australia has you sorted for live games filled with some healthy competition.
Road Trip along the East Coast of Australia, if you have time take the trip along the Pacific Coast from Sydney to Cairns stopping along at the endless little coastal towns each offering their own individual charm and attractions.
Take in the wonders of the West Coast, Western Australia is the country’s largest state and is diverse, offering a large variety of attractions and experiences. The capital Perth is the most isolated capital city but that doesn’t stop it offering plenty of awesome things to do. Along the West Coast the landscape varies and includes pink lakes, great surf beaches, beaches with flat crystal clear water, the world renowned Ningaloo Reef, harsh desert landscapes and the iconic red outback.
