We recently caught up with Hugh Britton from Sydney who spent a gap year in the UK with Letz Live in 2017 to see what he thought about his gap year!
“Let me start by saying I could not recommend a gap year more highly to anyone….. I’m constantly talking about it and I miss it all the time. I made some of my best friends over the year and created experiences and memories that are nothing like I had experienced here in Australia.
Every.single.holiday I went on and mind you (they are roughly every 6 weeks) were unforgettable. I went from skiing in the Italian Alps, swimming in the bluest water off the Amalfi Coast and to top it all off; I traveled on a TopDeck tour over the summer break. It was the best 27 days of my life.
Aside from my travels during the holidays, the school I was placed at was UNREAL!. I loved my job and I became great friends with the teaching staff. It made me enjoy my time at the school and was a highlight of my year.
With the help of Letz Live they made this all possible for me. Their team was extremely helpful and I have them to thank for such a great year. Letz Live send one of their representatives to ensure you are well looked after throughout the year and make sure you are enjoying the experience. it’s all these little things that really add to the gap year experience.
