PARTICIPANT REFLECTION: Larrisa Stroh
If I am honest, I finished school last July and didn't know what I wanted to study so I decided on taking a gap year. My parents had visited New Zealand when they were younger and I was looking to travel somewhere completely different to what I was accustom to back in Germany.

Destination in Focus: New Zealand
Get more out of your gap year with a trip to a country that has it all, New Zealand. Never more than a couple of hours away from golden beaches, rolling green farmland and spectacular snow-covered mountains, it’s no surprise New Zealand is a popular destination for gap years and working holidays.
CLARE MADE IT TO NEW ZEALAND
made it – about 30 hours of travelling later. My flights were pretty pleasant, as far as long haul flights go. I was sat next to the toilet for the first flight which led to some interesting niffs, however I didn’t have anyone annoying sat behind me kicking my chair (woop woop!).
