The Letz Live Story
Letz Live has a passion for travel and a dedication towards a positive social impact. And the way we see it, there’s no better way to see the world and make a difference than by diving head-first into the local culture!
It all started in 2005 when our founder, Nick Hare, returned home to Australia from a year-long stint working as a gap year assistant in an international boarding school in England. Hungry to get the next generation of youngsters to jump ship and experience life beyond Oz, he planted the Letz Live seed whilst juggling a University degree – all at the spritely age of 18.
Letz Live Team
We are a team of young, passionate and knowledgeable individuals, bitten by the travel bug during our time living and working overseas, but who understand the pressures that follow leaving high school or university and locking in potential tertiary studies or career ambitions.
Over the years our team has expanded across the globe with country managers in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and the United Kingdom. Although our team might be on the other side of the world, we are all close friends, with all managers speaking weekly, updating everyone on gap assistant’s progress and if there are any reasons for extra support or guidance, no matter what the programme.
We realise how valuable travelling in a group is and how quickly new friendships and networks are created while you travel, and we believe your energy should be spent on creating new memories, instead of chasing visa applications. We take the stress out of your travels including hassles with flights, insurance and visas, by taking care of it for you. You can take comfort in knowing that all you need to do is arrive at your destination and be met by your hosts, we have the rest covered for you.
Our global aim
We are committed to making a positive social impact by offering unique Gap Year programmes that allow those with big hearts and positive attitudes to contribute their skills and expertise to schools and students abroad.
Combining work and travel the Letz Live programme can nurture cultural empathy, establish an individual’s independence and contribute to positive life decisions in both career choice and wider community engagement.
Each Letz Live programme can add the sort of depth to your overseas experience that seeing the tourist sights simply cannot.
Your opportunities are as varied as they are unique, with placements available in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Thailand, the United States and the United Kingdom. Wherever it is you go, Letz Live will be there to help you every step of the way.
