As we enter a new year we’re very excited to say our January intakes for our 2022 Gap Year participants have been a huge success.
UK arrivals
In the first two weeks of January over 170 participants arrived in the UK. They spent two nights at the orientation in London, where they waited for their COVID test results, met the other participants and completed their essential BSA training.
After the orientation participants were transferred to their placement schools to settle in and start the year ahead of them.
Our UK participants have already been exploring the towns around their placement schools. Some have even made it to London, York and Oxford for some sightseeing.
The UK currently has no inbound travel restrictions and due to these changes we’ve received some last minute placements. If you’re thinking a change of plans could be in order for 2022 and are ready to take a Gap Year please apply today.
Applications are open for our September 2022 and January 2023 intakes to the UK.
Australian arrivals
Australia opened its borders to international visa holders in late December. This has been great news meaning we can now welcome inbound Gap Year participants to the land down under.
We’ve seen a number of participants successfully arrive this week, exploring Sydney and even the Australian Open. Following this, they will make their way to the placement school.
