Can I be placed at the same school as a friend?

Some applicants are fortunate enough to be placed together at the same school. However, you should be prepared to accept a position regardless of with whom you will be placed. We match you to a school that can utilise your individual strengths. Remember we are looking to place you at a school that is seeking particular attributes so don’t be shy in telling us about yourself. There will be plenty of time for you and your friends to meet and travel regularly during your rostered days off or on school holidays.


Are all applicants successful in gaining a position?

Unfortunately, it isn’t that easy. Letz Live needs to ensure that every individual is capable of achieving what is required when abroad. In saying this we do place a large number of our applicants! _A handy hint is to remember you need to present your self neatly and speak with confidence during your interview. We are on the hunt for GAP’s who understand the meaning of hard work, but also know how to enjoy themselves at the appropriate time!


What if I withdraw from the program after I have been placed?

Once you have applied with Letz Live, we automatically assume that you are committed to participating in a GAP year with us. Should you withdraw from your position you may have your placement fee contribution forfeited and such an action may result in significant unforseen costs and major inconvenience. You are expected to fulfil your contractual obligations.


If I am luckily enough to be offered more than one position can I choose?

Of course, we will liaise with you and your parents about this should the situation arise.


Can I do more than one GAP year?

Providing the feedback is positive from your initial placement, we’d love to facilitate another placement for you!


How much contact do I have with Letz Live whilst abroad?

With Letz Live you have as much or as little contact with us as you like! We offer you a 24 / 7 support network, online chat room with other Letz Live GAP’s around the world and visit whilst we are in the country!


Am I guaranteed a placement as soon as I apply?

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee a placement. However, if you complete the necessary documentation correctly, meet the application deadline and introduce yourself in a mature, and responsible manner then, if a school is looking for a person with your attributes there is a good chance you will be placed at a boarding school with Letz Live.
