As past Gap assistants ourselves, we can relate to the experiences had by our participants and assist them every step of the way!
We believe the support we offer our participants is second to none. This support commences once a placement has been confirmed and continues until the Gap assistant returns home following the conclusion of their placement abroad.
Letz Live provides participants (and their families) several pre-departure information sessions, social gatherings and continuous updates and support. Each Letz Live Gap assistant is offered the opportunity to fly to their Gap destination with a Letz Live representative and is required to attend a compulsory 'in-country orientation'.
The in-country orientation is an opportunity for our Gap assistants to spend two nights networking with other Letz Live Gap assistants from around the world. We conduct sightseeing tours, present information sessions, provide a detailed session on child protection policies, and highlight various circumstances that may arise during their placement.
Letz Live provides comprehensive support and is in a position of being able to offer personal advice from our own experiences as Gap assistants in boarding schools around the world. We have our own in-house travel department (Letz Travel) that secures generous discounts with a number of the world's leading tour companies, making it easier for our Gap assistants to see the world during their time abroad.
