Letz Live is a student friendly organisation, that’s why we understand the importance of providing a service that provides value for money and why, by using our experience as ex-GAP assistants we have negotiated discounts with tour companies and other organisations that make the cost of your lifetime experience, all the more attractive.

After your application has been submitted to Letz Live you will be requested to attend a compulsory interview. At this time payment of your non-refundable deposit of $90 is expected. This fee covers the cost of processing your application. Most interviews will be held at your school or at a mutually convenient venue shortly following the application closing date.

Should your application be successful and a position found, a placement fee of $2470 will be charged upon receiving confirmation of your placement*. At this time, an agreement between you, Letz Live and the school are signed indicating your preparedness to undertake the GAP year.

Should the term of your contract be for a shorter time (eg. 3 or 6 months) then Letz Live will advise of the anticipated payment dates during the interview process.

Letz Live’s fee includes your GAP year placement (Letz Live visit all schools offering
GAP positions*), the operational side of Letz Live and allows us to continue providing our GAP assistants with the experience of a lifetime. Additionally, the placement fee is also inclusive of;

• Visa and entry clearances (the country of your GAP year only)
• Worldwide hostel membership
• Two nights orientation
• Access to our in-house GAP chat room
• Countless discounts on tours and holidays
• Sim Cards prior to your departure (so Mum and Dad can contact you the
moment you arrive)
• Accompanied travel to your destination by Letz Live staff**
• Plus much, much more!!

We don’t believe in charging you extra, unnecessary fees for certain things which you may be able to find cheaper through travel agencies, airlines or travel insurance providers. These (airfares, travel insurance & luggage) items are not covered by Letz Live, however, our sister company LETZ TRAVEL can negotiate reduced rates for Letz Live GAP students, their family and friends.



Please note;

* Your placement fee is due 14 days after the GAP agreements have been issued. Should this be a problem, you must inform Letz Live in writing prior to the placement fee due date.

** From time-to-time we receive notification from a new school requesting GAP assistants from Letz Live at late notice. In many cases it is not possible for Letz Live to visit prior to your departure. We will make you aware of this should the situation arise.

*** Letz Live currently escort their GAPs to the United Kingdom every January. Those traveling to Canada in January are recommended to travel with Letz Live to London and proceed to Canada from there.
