SO YOU THINK TIME ABROAD WITH LETZ LIVE IS THE WAY TO GO?

Firstly and most importantly we require a written letter of introduction. We would like to get to know more about you, your hobbies, interests, skills and attributes. You should also indicate your reasons for wanting to undertake a GAP year. What would make you a great GAP assistant, one sought after by a school overseas and how will the school benefit from employing you as their GAP. Explain any of your past travel experiences whether it be on a school trip, a co-curricular activity or with your family. Sell yourself to us, but remember we will thoroughly check with your referees!

Each year schools look for different attributes in the skills possessed by GAP students so be sure to mention all your capabilities – Sell Yourself!

You should attach a current resume similar to the example that has been provided in the ‘Application Pack’. Please ensure these details are correct and that you are sure to notify Letz Live via email if you move or change address after submission of your application. We require three written references one of which needs to come from your current education provider. Other referees may include, but are not limited to sporting coaches, music tutors, family friends and employers. Please ensure they provide a contact telephone number, postal and email addresses where possible.

Please forward information via email to AUSTRALIA@LETZLIVE.ORG if you are currently attending secondary school. If you are at a tertiary institution or have completed your high schooling send your application to GRADUATES@LETZLIVE.ORG

Letz Live will confirm the arrival of your application and make contact with you to confirm your application has been received at our offices and again following the application deadline to finalise a time for your interview with Letz Live. Once the interview has been completed Letz Live will contact your referees and approach suitable schools abroad on your behalf. Remember this process can be lengthy, however in the past we have had applicants interviewed and placed within 6 hours.

You must remember that whilst every effort is made to place applicants, it just may not be that your particular attributes or skills are what schools in abroad are on the lookout for. Schools can be quite forthright in the qualities, skills and attributes they are seeking.
